Festivals, Gatherings & Network Projects

Rooted in a deep philosophy of knowledge sharing and community building, Baburka is dedicated to creating cultural events and festivals that champion artistic collaboration and independent cinema.

At the forefront is the Hip Hop Cinefest: the world’s leading film event dedicated to exploring and showcasing Hip Hop cinema, featuring official selections from over 35 countries since 2021.

Our commitment to fostering a strong creative network also lives through our milestone other events: EffectUs Event (launched in 2015 as Italy’s premier gathering for special makeup effects) and Il Cartello degli Indipendenti (established in 2016 and active until 2019 to unite, connect, and empower small independent production companies).
