During the first lockdown for Covid, the author thinks back at the trip he made a few months earlier to know more closely the activists of “Fridays For Future”, the student movement inspired by Greta Thunberg’s protest: the reasons for their mobilization, their values, their goals. The film is an intimate and joyful portrait of that part of Italian youth who turned the lens of their smartphone on reality, in order to modify it and create the conditions for future generations to experience it too.
Documentary conceived and directed by Ezio Maisto, co-produced by Baburka together with Infinity Lab, Italia Che Cambia, Terra Nuova Edizioni and the support of Banca Etica. Distributed by the Mediaset group and visible on the Infinity streaming platform starting from October 2020.

His main directorial works are the documentary feature film RAGAZZI IRRESPONSABILI (in post production), distributed by RTI-Mediaset from March 2020, the MORE THAN THIS short films, presented in competition at the 33rd edition of the Giffoni Experience, one of the most popular film festivals for kids in the world and, among others, at Ayr FF (Scotland), Underground F.F. (Germany), Naples F.F., Ischia F.F.; GREATER EXPECTATIONS, awarded at its international premiere at the San Marino International F.F. and in competition at Edinburgh F.F. (Scotland), Muskoka Independent F.F. (Canada), Phoenix F.F. (Australia), Southway F.F. (Ukraine), Archipelago F.F. and many others; LA CURRYBONARA, a zero budget, projected in 38 different festivals, awarded 16 times and broadcast by RAI. He also directed GOODBYE (A TRUE STORY), an experimental erotic short film presented at international genre festivals in Rome, Madrid (Spain) and Seattle (USA). As a screenwriter he has written the web series OLTRE LE PIETRE (thriller) and some episodes of the TV series DISTRETTO DI POLIZIA, broadcast on Canale 5. He was a three-time finalist of the Solinas Award with 3 different feature film scripts. Already a marketing manager for a publishing house, he is also a journalist and event organizer.
