Rome, during a demonstration against the opening of a migrant reception center, unleashed a zombie apocalypse.
Enrico, an extreme right-wing boy, takes shelter inside the center, lying about his identity.
The only safe place is that reception center that he didn’t want, while outside the dead are walking on the earth.
Go-Home – a casa loro, is a movie that uses zombies as a metaphor for racism. Horror is intended as a means to address a hot and highly controversial topic; on the other hand it is a horror film like the one that happens in our seas and in our streets.
The film deals with the theme by observing it from the point of view of the “other”, but at the same time through the eyes of those who would never have imagined themselves experiencing the reality of the migrant.
The plot in fact tells how, during a demonstration against the opening of a reception center, a zombie apocalypse is unleashed just outside the center, which thus becomes the only bastion of salvation in the world and in which Enrico takes refuge, a right-wing extremist who protested precisely against the place that is now saving him.
The real monsters are out.
